Pratheep finds inspiration from his own interpretation of nature’s beauty and personality. Its many abilities to survive and transform seems artful, it composes and uses different techniques as well as the many colours it draws energy from. The artist’s way of conceptualising work therefore resembles nature’s work, it reflects not only his own emotions but also the wonders of the natural world.

When creating abstract paintings, visual elements are key then comes the concept of the work. These may not be aesthetically obvious but it is one of the fundamentals Prateep when creating. He had been liberally experimenting with colours and with many shapes and forms. This is like having a dialogue with the work being produced. The artist’s way of working is therefore a very dynamic and lively approach, embracing every thoughts and creative ideas that may arise, and letting instincts guide the way.

A very intuitive artist, Prateep is able to express himself creatively through both abstract and figurative work. He paints colours as its own element, each brushstrokes’ rhythmic movement compliments one another forming a power collective.
