In 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘙, one of MUEBON’s signature characters — a bird known as Pukruk — appears at the center of the composition. Pukruk is shown engaging in an ayatori-like activity, playing with delicate threads that seem intentionally arranged, suggesting rhythm, connection, and unseen structure.
Behind the bird’s head is a geometric form with Thai numerals, visually reminiscent of Thai astrological charts / jula chak diagrams — a symbolic field that resonates with the work’s title 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘙 and draws attention above the character’s head.
This work was previously included in the exhibition “Alex Face & MUEBON: Mythical Creatures” at Vertical Gallery in Chicago, USA, before becoming part of the MoNWIC Art Museum collection.
